Office space identity

Let’s talk about an astonishing renovation in Belgium by Going East for Fosbury & Sons.  The renovated modernism 1970s concrete office building was the HQ for cement firm CBR in Brussels designed by Constantin Brodzki. This building was one of the most profound landmarks of its time due to its curved concrete modules and the new architectural language in the Belgiums realm. The new owner is the company Fosbury & Sons, and their vision was to create their other co-working experience within this iconic structure spanning on seven floors.

The office renters can choose multiple styles of office space such as ‘Suites’ (private office spaces), the ‘Ateliers’ (shared private office spaces), and various other open-plan common workspaces throughout the building. It also includes a restaurant, a bar, meeting rooms, an event room, and last but not least, an auditorium.

The renovation did not overtake the former modernist aesthetic of the building, and its most essential characteristics were maintained. The selected interior furniture has a minimal aesthetic, and the wood and concrete finishes blend in a beautiful second chance in life.
