In a few days, it will be summer, and I can’t stop my self from thinking about all the summer vacations I had in Europe as well as Asia…aaahh the good times! This summer will be different for sure! Even though in Cyprus, the pandemic did not hit as severely as the other countries and it’s one of the safest countries for tourism, I would love to hop on a plane and go anywhere. I guess traveling to an abroad country now is kind of a risky situation so summer in Cyprus it is!
While scrolling through the internet, I stumbled upon this elegant villa by the beach by Gavin Maddock Design Studio in Cape Town, an ideal beach house for a weekend getaway! The raw concrete materiality blends with the natural landscape and event thought I like every inch of this house my favorite area is the pool. Cleverly elevated and positioned directly looking to the sea, I could spend the whole day chilling here. The bedrooms, as well as all the common areas, follow a minimal concept with grey tones, and wooden textures with amazing framed views towards the seafront.
